The rapper revealed that she loves watching the series “The Crown,” which is a historical drama about Queen Elizabeth II, and her reign with husband, Prince Philip. Her response prompted the host to ask about her thoughts on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. And true to her style, the songwriter gave a straightforward answer, saying that Harry should “go home like E.T.” 

She further added that the duke should “phone home and then go home,” a reference to a scene in the 1982 film “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial”. In the movie, an alien, nicknamed E.T., says “phone home,” as a way of saying that he wanted to contact his home planet and return.

The “Everybody” singer even felt that the younger brother of Prince William shouldn’t have “aired the family’s dirty laundry, but that’s just me.” However, the rapper quickly added that she has “nothing but love for them, love for everyone.” 

“I love the Royal Family as if I know them. But I think we as Americans love the idea of the Royal Family so much…but people do things, and you don’t know why, and you don’t know what’s going on inside of them. So I don’t judge,” she added.

However, when Harry opened up about his royal issues, Minaj confessed in a fake British accent that she “was like, ‘No Harry, don’t do that. You know better.’” “You know what I mean. But he did what he did,” she said, before answering the next question.

The actress debuted her line on Wednesday, with its first collection, “Seductress,” selling out almost immediately. And now, if reports are to be believed, Sweeney’s trademark filing hints at SYRN’s expansion into the beauty space.

Sydney Sweeney is potentially gearing up to create a beauty business after successfully launching her lingerie brand, SYRN.

According to WWD, documents filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office indicate that the “Euphoria” actress filed a trademark application for SYRN for skin care preparations, cosmetics, and beauty care preparations. 

According to the outlet, the January 16 application was an “intent-to-use” filing. This means her brand could still have products in development, or it’s protecting itself for a potential expansion down the line. However, no specific innovations or product names were mentioned in the section.

The news of the expansion comes a week after the star debuted her collection on Wednesday. While talking about her brand, she told ELLE that she “wanted to create a world and a feeling.” 

“I wanted to build a lingerie brand that feels like it understands women instead of talking at them. SYRN is about confidence without pressure, feeling sexy, powerful, soft, playful, or all of the above, depending on the day. As the sole founder, my vision was to create something that lives in real life and doesn’t hold anyone back,” she explained.

Sweeney’s potential break into beauty follows several brand ambassador roles over the past few years. In 2022, “The Housemaid” star was named the new global ambassador of K-beauty pioneer Laneige. In the years that followed, she became an ambassador for Armani Beauty. 

Kérastase appointed Sweeney as its global ambassador in 2024. And last year, the actress landed a role with male grooming brand Dr. Squatch to promote its new body wash line. 

If the 28-year-old star launches her beauty line, she would follow in the footsteps of many other renowned celebrities, such as Rihanna, Beyoncé Knowles, Shakira, singer Harry Styles, and Selena Gomez, who have already made a mark in this industry.

“Even though he’s their father, the reality is that his reputation has become damaging and toxic.” Nicholl further added that since the princesses “are young women with their own successful careers,” they “just want to get on with that.”

Highlighting how the daughters are taking different positions on supporting their father, it was reported that the girls opted to spend last year’s Christmas at Sandringham with the royal family rather than their parents.

Sharing more about their bonding, a former BBC royal correspondent, Jennie Bond, had earlier told the outlet that “It would seem that the two daughters are taking different positions on supporting their father,” adding that the daughters “must feel very conflicted in their loyalties.”
