Season 10 of Summer House is a must-watch. Viewers will see Amanda Batula’s marriage to frat-boy wannabe Kyle Cooke fall apart. Plus, a crop of newbies is in the house, including Dara Levitan. And she just happens to be West Wilson’s ex-girlfriend.

Naturally, fans are anxious to see what happens between Ciara Miller and West. Last season, the tension between the former couple was high, and their friendship was on ice. Summer House’s new cast member Dara Levitan has history with West Wilson

Newbie Dara, who is a content creator in the beauty realm, recently opened up about filming Summer House. “I think you’ll definitely see the lover girl in me, which I think I’ve hinted at in my life and my content,” she told US Weekly.

And as far as seeing West in the Hamptons? Dara was unbothered. “I honestly am not the type of person that finds a lot of situations super awkward,” she explained. “At this point, our situation is so far in the past that we’ve been friends a lot longer than we were ever seeing each other. And it’s always super wonderful, and he’s very observant and very supportive.”

She added, “I would say it took time for the warmth to, to foster … but the same is true, I feel, you know, you don’t meet someone and automatically become best friends the next day, and especially if you’ve dated the same person.”

Meanwhile, West also spoke about having his ex filming for Summer House. “It was a long time ago. She’s a good friend,” West previously stated. “I would never bring anyone into this house that I thought would give me more problems.” He added, “We’re very cool and platonic – she’s a fun person.”

Welcome to the recap for Summer House Season 10, Episode 1, the premiere! Last season, Ciara was at odds with both West and Jesse (let’s put #toegate firmly behind us), and Amanda and Kyle had babies on the brain. Meanwhile, Lindsay surprised everyone with the announcement she was preggers. And Paige surprised everyone by saying goodbye to Craig and leaving the show. So, what drama does the crew have in store for us this time around? Here’s exactly what went down in Summer House Season 10, Episode 1: “Red, White, and Nude.”

What happened in Summer House Season 10, Episode 1?

The tenth season kicked off with a lot of newbies, and the OGs approved of their vibe. However, the main theme of the episode was the enormous tension between Kyle and Amanda. And this left their friends concerned. Still, some relationships were on the mend, like Ciara and West’s. Ciara was planning to live the motto: summer should be fun! And even though the Bed Bugs were down a member, they happily accepted Jesse into the fold.

We are back! Didn’t you all miss the oddly specific times on this show? We started on Thursday, July 3, 12:38pm, to be exact. And right out of the gate Amanda and Kyle were at odds, with Amanda wanting to ride up to the Hamptons with Ciara instead. Amanda quipped, “He’s so distraught I chose to drive out with different people.” 

They also picked up two newbies, Bailey, an influencer (not to be confused with last season’s Bailee), and her bestie, Levi, an event planner. They explained they met on Instagram, and it was love at first sight. Amanda then lamented about Kyle being a DJ. 

Cut to five weeks earlier. She told Ciara, “I wanted him to stop going out and partying, and he found a career where he goes out late and parties. And I’m like, ‘Should I be mad about this?’” 

Meanwhile, Kyle rode up with Carl and Jesse. Carl was hoping to room on the first floor to “get in the mix,” while Jesse was open to rooming again with West. What he wouldn’t do, however, was come in hot with another girl again. We shall see.

West drove up with newbie, KJ, who is a model and professional skateboarder. And he’s from West’s home state of Missouri. West described KJ as “very mild mannered, and then around three to four tequila sodas, he’ll throw his grill in, flip his hat backwards, and start to rage.”

Although KJ didn’t seem like he was going to rage anytime soon. He noted that he just survived getting his heart broken. West advised him not to date someone from the house. He was still clearly shaken from Ciara’s Traitors-style takedown of him last season. 

Jesse was an honorary Bed Bug

The time-honored tradition of a janky front door was no more. The ladies opened it with ease. Ciara cheered, “To the first weekend of the summer of y’all’s lives.”

West grabbed some liquid courage before wandering over to Ciara. However, Ciara had different plans this season. She said in her confessional, “My goal is for the summer is I’m not going to eat him alive. I’m working on being less rigid; I’m working on being less of a b*tch.”

Soon after, the rest of the guys showed up, but no one had grabbed the luggage the ladies left out in the driveway. Kyle said it was about to start raining, so they should bring it in. When Ciara looked at him to do it, Kyle scoffed. 

Ciara said in her confessional, “Kyle is my friend. But I don’t like when I hear things from Amanda about how she’s being treated, and then I have to sit there and smile and giggle in your face knowing these things, but I can’t get involved because it’s not my marriage.”

Everyone then ran around to pick their rooms. Carl got his wish for the first-floor bedroom and happily saged away. He was living his best life and finally felt like “a real human being.”

Ciara and Jesse then caught up in his room. The two shared it was weird without Paige around. Jesse said, “She’ll be hard to replace, but I’ll gossip with you and Amanda.” Ciara noted he could be part of the “Gossip Girls,” but he’d have to keep his mouth shut. 

Jesse was just happy to be included and that Ciara was planning to have positive vibes towards his bestie, West.

Bailey got dumped at the salad bar

The first meal of the season was some fancy pizza and salad. Carl cheered; they were all single, minus Kyle and Amanda. Amanda brought up that Kyle lost his wedding ring, so she wasn’t going to wear hers until he found it. Jesse joked, “It’s okay, you guys can cosplay as single.”

And speaking of troubled relationships, Levi shared she just got out of a toxic twelve-year one. Bailey chimed in that she was recently dumped at a Sweetgreen. Amanda gasped, “Not at Sweetgreen!” Bailey started crying as she told the story of how her boyfriend jetted off to LA. The worst part of it all was she had bought him the most expensive salad to boot. 

Bailey changed subjects to Kyle being a DJ. The tension continued when Amanda said Kyle chose that career just to “spite” her. As Kyle talked about the joys of DJing, Amanda whispered to Ciara, “I love how he’s spinning this. No pun intended.” 

It was now time to go and party, which meant Amanda and Ciara headed straight to bed. Jesse hopped in with them, and even West tried to join. Amanda asked why he was hanging with them instead of the new girls. West responded, “Because they are crying.”

Meanwhile, Kyle complained about Amanda in his room. He said, “Every summer Amanda just makes me feel like I don’t exist.” Kyle shared in his confessional he hoped to rekindle things with her this summer, but that didn’t seem to be a possibility. 

After everyone left, Amanda told Ciara about her issues with Kyle. She said, “He finishes his set, he hangs out with the owners, he goes out with fans.” She added she was numb to the cheating rumors. And that scared her. 

Carl was concerned about Kyle

The next day was the Fourth of July, and it was time for West’s county fair-themed party. But first, the last newbie arrived. Kyle and Amanda’s friend Ben wandered in. West screamed, “He’s so handsome!” Ben gave warm hugs all around. 

Amanda explained they met him at their friend’s wedding in Italy, and she was skinny dipping. Jesse said, “You’ve seen Amanda’s boobs? I’ve never even seen them.” Kyle was not amused.

Carl caught up with Ciara and shared in another place and time they would be a happy couple. He dished he really wanted to have a family and didn’t want it to happen when he was ninety. Ciara joked he wasn’t as old as Kyle, although Kyle did not act his age. 

Carl agreed and said he only got to spend time with Kyle if he went to one of his shows. He also expressed concern about Kyle’s relationship with Amanda. Why was he out DJing at a college on a Thursday night? 

He said in his confessional, “This kind of other life that he’s been leading the last twelve months, which is like DJing and hosting these parties, isn’t aligned with what should be going on in his life. Which is really committing to his wife, getting back to kind of a good foundation in his relationship, and planning for a future in that relationship.” 

The worrying was put on hold because it was time to set up for the party. There was going to be a pie-eating contest, kissing booth, and petting zoo. Amanda decided to chill with Ben and Ciara instead and informed Ciara that Ben was on the Australian version of The Bachelor. As they caught up, the vibes were definitely vibing between Ben and Amanda. 

Kyle was worried he couldn’t make Amanda happy

The Fourth of July party was in full swing. Ciara’s favorite part was the petting zoo, and she noted West must have done it for her. She told Jesse, “Intentional or not, it’s a great peace offering.”

Ciara then caught up with Amanda. They were missing Lindsay, so they FaceTimed her, and she was happily playing with her daughter. This led Ciara to ask Amanda if she still wanted kids. She did but said Kyle’s DJing made it so he was never home. 

Amanda said, “I’m like you’re putting yourself in compromising situations where people are assuming the worst. To be completely honest with you, I think something that’s really tough for me is when the whole internet is rooting for our divorce.”

Meanwhile, Carl checked in on Kyle and asked if he was happy. Kyle said he was happy “showing people a good time, pressing play.” When he asked if he thought Amanda was happy, Kyle responded, “I don’t know what’s going to make her happy. But I don’t know if I can do it. When I actually say it out loud, it becomes a little more real, and it scares me.”

After the serious discussions, Ciara started a pie fight by throwing one in West’s face. But Amanda started a fight of her own when she “skinny dipped” in the pool with see-through underwear on. Kyle was livid and told her she was “absurd.” It was going to be a long summer for those two.

Summer House is back! Things will be a little different this season without Paige DeSorbo, but Jesse Solomon is going to try to fill in the gap left by her departure. Though he can never replace Paige, he’s promised to gossip with the girls in her absence.

After pinky-swearing with Ciara Miller that he will not repeat anything he hears “in the bed,” they settle down for a chat. Of course, the first thing Jesse wants to know is if she and ex-flame West Wilson are on “friendly terms” following their Season 8 split.

“Only God will tell,” Ciara tells Jesse in Bravo’s Daily Dish sneak peek. However, Jesse reminds her that the decision to mend her friendship with West is totally in her hands.

“I’ve been praying about it,” she finally admits. But when Jesse gets giddy about his two pals being friends again, she warns him, “Don’t make it a big deal.”

In an effort to contain his happiness, he assures her, “I’m cool,” though he’s grinning ear-to-ear.

“Wipe that smile off your face,” Ciara orders.

According to West’s official Summer House Season 10 bio, the sports journalist is once again single and ready to mingle.

In October, the rumor mill was all over another possible Summer House/Southern Charm couple. After West was spotted at a football game with Salley Carson, Bravo fans were on high alert. Additionally, Salley later confessed that she and West “played a little bit” at BravoCon. But sadly, there doesn’t seem to be a lot going on there.

As for Ciara, she’s ready to play the field, while “refusing to settle for anyone who doesn’t treat her right.”

However, the Summer House Season 10 trailer teased a potential rekindling of West and Ciara’s relationship. They actually admitted that they missed each other, while snuggling together.

What would Summer House be without cast conflict? There are varying degrees of escalation of course. And the show, about to premiere its tenth season, has seemingly been overdue a flat-out brawl. As it turns out, the cast revealed that fight between Carl Radke and Kyle Cooke left West Wilson as collateral damage.

Carl and Kyle have been solid friends since before Summer House. They’ve had each other’s backs over the years, but also squabble. The reason for their fight was not disclosed, but they did share that West was “bloodied” in the aftermath.

Carl Radke “hadn’t flipped out like that in quite a while” on Summer House

Bravo’s show cast celebrated a decade onscreen at 92NY in the Big Apple last week. Carl and Kyle recalled their fight, which was filmed in the summer of 2025, as an event that brought them “closer.”

“I think it was probably the biggest fight we’ve ever had as friends,” Carl shared. “That was the last dinner of the summer, which I think you’ll see how that kind of led up to that. But I think a lot of men, especially Kyle and I, we can go at it — but it actually brings us closer together.”

He added, “I mean, me and Kyle tried to kill [former costar] Luke [Gulbranson], and we’re best friends. We’ve gotten into it, but you’ll see how it unfolds. But I love this guy [Kyle], I mean, so important to me.”

The Season 10 trailer indicates that the friends come to blows. Other cast members, including West, got pulled into the drama as they attempted to de-escalate the situation.

West then revealed that he had “blood” on his pants after getting “in the middle” of the brawl. He said, “I was like, ‘Just let him fight.’ But yeah, there were a lot of people, a lot of holding people back.”

Well, it’s finally happened. A current Summer House cast member already hooked up with a new cast member – and the show hadn’t started filming yet … West Wilson isn’t one of the core cast, but he’s going on three seasons, with a lot of dating drama under his belt.

On Season 8, West was pursuing Ciara Miller. After some sort of failed situationship, the duo spent most of Season 9 not interacting. The Season 10 trailer indicates that they re-examine their situation. But in the meanwhile, West might have drama with newbie Dara Levitan.

According to her official bio, Dara had “whirlwind romance” with West “years” ago. The “successful content creator” is anticipating “what, or who, the Hamptons have in store.” She’s had such success as a makeup artist that she’s worked with NARS, Fenty, and Pat McGrath.

Meanwhile, West confirmed that he dated Dara in an interview with Us Weekly. He shared, “It was a long time ago. She’s a good friend.” But it seems he isn’t concerned about lasting drama.

“I would never bring anyone into this house that I thought would give me more problems,” West added. “We’re very cool and platonic — she’s a fun person.”

That’s a contrasting situation to West’s interactions with Ciara post-split. At least this season, he feels “ready to date again and prioritize his happiness.” The bio continued, “Will West be able to confidently date in front of his housemates, or will he find himself retreating into a shell when things get complicated?”

As per the Season 10 trailer, Jesse Solomon seemingly makes a move on Ciara. If viewers can’t expect drama from West and Dara, one can look to Jesse for just that. Also, with Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula separating, fans will be looking for clues in their interactions.

To be fair, last season Jesse was preoccupied with pursuing Lexi Wood. In the meantime, Carl Radke professed his interest in the professional model.

Ciara does certainly get a lot of romantic attention. And this season potentially got more hectic for her than normal.

The Summer House cast teased more to come to Us Weekly. As for West, he is still hoping for Ciara’s friendship post-breakup. And they might be making progress. He called their situation in Season 10 “a melting pot of emotions.”

West explained, “There are moments where we aren’t mortal enemies anymore.”

“[But] don’t know how this is going to shake out … [It] can seem romantic … it’s weird, but fun,” he added.

Lindsay Hubbard read the room and confirmed that “there’s always a vibe between Ciara and West.” As for the love triangle, Jesse “threw a wrench in that.” Did anything come of the flirtation?

Jesse certainly downplayed the situation with Ciara as “fun and flirty.” All the more so to know that there is “no beef” between the two best friends that nothing came of it all.

However, Amanda Batula countered what Jesse said. The Summer House star stated, “there’s a lot more to it than what was even touched on in the trailer.” Fans have noticed that Jesse is one to leave flirtatious comments on Amanda’s social media page.

For his part, West isn’t aware of the optics of how it all played out. It seems he learned little from his freshman season in that sense. He stated, “I don’t know how this is going to shake out either.”

He continued, “You almost feel like people feel entitled to your personal business because they’ve watched you be public about everything. My big thing would be to tell other people who are on the internet to like be respectful.” That should go without saying.

“Even if this is what’s best for them and it’s all going to be for the better, it is still objectively a hard thing to do. And like probably so f*cking exhausting,” West stated. “I can’t speak for them, but I am proud of them up until this point.”

“West came to Columbia … he’s great, and we hung out at BravoCon and it was fun,” Salley explained. “His personality is awesome. He’s very genuine — like, if you’re hanging out with him, all of his attention is on you.”

Despite the positive vibes, Salley is currently a single lady in Charleston, South Carolina. West echoed a similar, non-commital statement during an appearance on the Show Me Something podcast.

“I had to do a Captain Morgan event at the University of South Carolina on Saturday. And [Salley] went there,” the Summer House star shared. “[Will] lives in Columbia… So I was like, ‘Yo, I’m gonna be in town. Show me where to go.’ And they just took me out to all the college bars, and it was really fun … just a lot of cheap bars and a zillion college kids running around … I will never complain that my job is to fly to host a tailgate for the day.”

“I’m frustrated with some of the things I’ve seen that she’s said,” Salley shared on the podcast. “I’m like, ‘Why would you say that when you didn’t feel that way really about me? Salley also reacted to Venita’s hours-long date with Summer House star Carl Radke. She gushed that Carl is “super sweet,” and approves of a potential romance. “I actually think that they would be a good fit for each other,” Salley said, adding, “I’ve met him a few times, and I really like him. She deserves a good guy.”

Summer House Season 10 filmed for the past two months in the Hamptons. The year-long lag time before airing is always a challenge for viewers because so much does leak out in the meantime. But there is no word on who the new cast members are. However, West Wilson promises that it will be a dynamic group.

Summer House veteran Paige DeSorbo announced her exit at the end of Season 9. Newbies Lexi Wood and Imrul Hassan also bowed out. So there were several spots to fill. And the potential for a completely new cast dynamic will entice viewers.

Summer House Season 10 will feature “awesome” new cast members, says West Wilson

West spoke to The Post about what fans can expect from the new cast members. The sports writer added that he feels “complete” after filming Season 10.

“The new people we have this summer are so awesome and I love them a lot. They’re all great. So that’s fun,” he said.

The new group challenged West, but also were fun to party with. He called it the “complete” summer with friends.

“Everyone knows I’m like a non-confrontational person. I’ve grown a lot this summer and had a lot of fun, good learning experiences, ups, downs,” the Bravolebrity explained. “This is the most complete summer I’ve had as far as the emotional cycle of having complicated friendships and relationships with people.”

West added, “It opened the door for a lot of new people, which has been fun.”

Meanwhile, the Summer House star really felt the void of Paige’s absence. The duo shared “a sense of humor,” so West was missing out on a few laughs.

He explained, “If I made a joke, I feel like she was kind of always the first one. We were kind of always on the same page with goofing off in the house. So looking for someone new who I got to direct my jokes towards was apart of the adjustment.”

Overall, it was a “great summer.” Hopefully, West didn’t get involved in the type of house romances that he’s been trying to avoid since Ciara Miller.
