Last night, Calla Lily’s mask came off on The Masked Singer, revealing Teddi Mellencamp’s smiling face underneath. For those who watched Teddi on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, you likely already guessed Teddi’s identity. That said, three out of four judges didn’t. And that was shocking, actually, because her clue package could not have been any clearer.

Last season, RHOBH’s Erika Jayne also starred on The Masked Singer. She entered this competition series as the beloved pup named Yorkie. But her clue package was just as easy to crack as Teddi’s. Or maybe I know far too many Real Housewives trivia facts.

Either way, The Masked Singer just said goodbye to another RHOBH star by way of Teddi. Here’s a recap detailing her clue packet, the judges’ predictions, and Teddi’s closing thoughts following her unmasking as the Calla Lily flower in Season 14.

Every contestant on The Masked Singer films a pre-recorded, lively teaser, complete with hints about their masked identities. These live-action videos air right before they perform. And that, plus the way each singer carries themselves, typically helps everyone guess their likenesses. However, only one judge correctly guessed Teddi’s name, so let’s take a look at Teddi’s clue package to understand why.

During week two, Calla Lily performed Rachel Platten’s hit track “Fight Song.” In her clue package, this character hinted about a recent, life-changing health diagnosis. And as RHOBH fans know, Teddi was diagnosed with stage II melanoma in October 2022. In February 2025, her cancer metastasized to her brain and lungs, and she remains in treatment today.

Then, during her appearance in week four, The Masked Singer observed the 250th birthday of the United States. So, Calla Lily suggested that one of her loved ones is well-known for their honoring of the U.S.A. “I can’t celebrate America and not mention an American legend,” she said, further teasing, “He’s an icon, but to me, he’s so much more.” Yes, she was talking about her father, recording artist John Mellencamp.

And finally, the judges received their last tangible clues: a gummy bear, a diamond house key, and a cougar T-shirt. Immediately, one of the judges realized Calla Lily’s identity.

Only one Masked Singer judge correctly guessed Teddi’s identity

After Teddi’s character performed “Jack and Diane,” one of her father’s iconic songs, the four judges continued to scratch their heads. However, this particular performance did make Jenny McCarthy rave about how much Calla Lily had “blossomed.” And then, in reviewing all of Calla Lily’s clues, this same judge’s ears finally perked.

“I see a house key, and I see a diamond. And that sounds like a Beverly Hills Housewife to me,” Jenny explained. “Put the clues together: gummy bear. Bear. Teddi. Cougar, dad’s nickname. Mellencamp. Cougar. This is Teddi Mellencamp from the Housewives,” Jenny accurately predicted.

But she also interjected some humbleness here by admitting that she “could be wrong.” However, the clue packages did point “in [Teddi’s] direction,” Jenny noted. And just in case she was right, Jenny next spoke to Teddi, who was still wearing her Calla Lily mask, saying, “I just honor your journey, girlfriend, and I feel so honored to have you here.”

After being voted off and forced to reveal her true identity, Teddi finally unmasked herself, making Jenny the only right judge on her panel.

Meanwhile, Rita Ora chose Selma Blair, while Ken Jeong guessed Christina Applegate. As for Robin Thicke, he stood ten toes down that Calla Lily was Danielle Fishel, since Danielle had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Teddi gave an emotional message as her Masked Singer journey came to an end

Following her unveiling on The Masked Singer, Teddi took everything in. And then, she offered an emotional statement about her journey.

“I’m not a singer by trade, clearly, and so that part was challenging for me,” she began. “Also, a big part of my memory has been askew since my brain surgery. So I was a little bit nervous. But I was excited to push myself out of my comfort zone and try something new, and it felt like it gave me a little bit of life,” Teddi emotionally stressed.

Teddi’s life took a drastic turn following her 2025 health update. Instead of fighting over trivial matters on RHOBH, Teddi had no choice but to gather up her courage and fight for her life. In doing so, her days quickly filled with surgeries and treatment options to knock back her cancer. So, when we heard Teddi admit that The Masked Singer injected “a little bit of life” back into her steps, reality quickly settled into our hearts.

John Mellencamp shocked listeners during an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. He said that his daughter, Teddi Mellencamp was “really sick” with “cancer in the brain.” The doting father also lamented about her suffering.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans believed that cancer had returned for the alum star. In October 2025, Teddi revealed that her body was cancer free. John’s recent statements were confusing at the very least. So the Two T’s in a Pod podcast co-host clarified the situation in a recent episode.

Teddi Mellencamp insists her cancer has not returned

Teddi clarified, “You know, I think when he said the words ‘suffering,’ he meant like, how I’m mentally doing versus how I’m physically doing.”

“Instantly people thought, ‘Oh my God, cancer’s back,’” her co-host Tamra Judge said.

Thankfully, according to Teddi, “there’s still no trace of cancer.” She added, “But I’m still considered stage four and I’m still in immunotherapy, so essentially nothing’s changed other than I still — I don’t feel great … I would hope that I would be feeling better by now, but I really don’t.”

Perhaps there is an emotional aspect to her healing journey. Teddi theorized that the extreme emotions of the past year are still affecting her.

“I also didn’t properly process all of the things that happened when I had surgery, like from my divorce [from Edwin Arroyave] to all of a sudden being in emergency surgery. Then, you know, not being able to see my kids when I was recovering. I think all of those things are starting to finally hit me now. I started doing therapy, and so it’s taken its toll on me,” she explained.

The RHOBH alum has been battling cancer since a stage 2 melanoma diagnosis in 2022. Doctors gave Teddi a 50/50 chance of survival after the cancer metastasized to her brain and lungs. The immunotherapy treatments themselves take a major toll.

“It’s hard for me to touch and move, and I can see that I’m slower than I was before, and that’s really frustrating to me. Like I want to be back to the way I used to be,” Teddi shared.

She continued, “I was really fighting for my life … now that the storm has calmed a little, now I’m starting to develop fear where I didn’t have fear before. Like I have fear to do a lot of things.”

Above all, the former Bravolebrity is terrified “that cancer is going to come back.” However, Teddi tries to treat “every day” as a “new day.”

She continued, “I started doing therapy, and it’s taken its toll on me. I’ve learned that there are certain things, like it’s hard for me to touch and move. I can see that I’m slower than I was before, and that’s really frustrating to me.” Teddi added, “I want to be back to the way I was.”

When her friend and co-host Tamra Judge asked Teddi what she was most afraid of, Teddi responded, “That the cancer is going to come back.” Meanwhile, Teddi’s father, John Mellencamp’s recent statements about Teddi raised alarm bells. “She’s got cancer in the brain, and she’s suffering right now,” the singer said.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp is literally waging a battle for her life against stage 4 cancer. Nearly a year after sharing that she had multiple brain tumors, Teddi’s estranged husband Edwin Arroyave is speaking out.

“What’s been really tough for her is that she’s going through the immunotherapy,” he said. “That alone causes some side effects, [and it’s] been really hard on her mental health.”

“The good news, though, is that those tumors are gone from what we can see,” he shared on The Eds podcast. “The chances of that happening were .001 percent. So, that was totally a miracle from God.”

Even though the couple are in the process of divorcing, Edwin still considers Teddi a dear friend. Whenever the accountability coach struggles with negative thoughts, he’s there to support her.

“It sucks because you’re in a position where there’s not much you can do,” he admitted. “There’s also what she’s feeling on the inside that nobody really sees. It’s a lot. I got to remind her all the time, [to] focus on the positives. Eight months, nine months and these tumors are gone. That’s a positive.”

“‘Give yourself credit, you’re doing amazing,'” he recalled telling her. “I think that the inner battle with the mind is probably one of the toughest ones that you have to fight.”

The pair have three children together: Slate, 13; Cruz, 11; and Dove, 5. Parenting their children together while fighting cancer has been a challenge, but Edwin wants to set an example for their kids.

“I want [them] to see that no matter what, you show up for your family,” he added. “I want them to see that dad was always there, no matter what. [Additionally, I] want them to see, like, as they get older, you got to treat your mom with respect. You got to always be there for your mom. You only have one mom.”

Teddi Mellencamp is still actively battling stage 4 cancer. The latest on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum comes from her father, John Mellencamp. The rocker shared an emotional update during a recent podcast interview.

She got clear scans in October 2025. With the cancer “gone” from her brain, Teddi made a triumphant return to BravoCon the following month and received a lot of love from fans and fellow Bravolebrities. However, she has been noticeably absent from her podcast, Two T’s In a Pod recently. So what’s really going on?

John said Teddi Mellencamp is “really sick” and “suffering”

According to the 74-year-old musician, his daughter is “really sick” as she continues to battle stage 4 cancer. John gave the health update during an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience.

“It’s not f*ing fun,” he said of Teddi’s current situation. “She’s got cancer in the brain, and she’s suffering right now.”

The comments are causing alarm and confusion from fans. The last Teddi shared on her October 3 podcast episode was that there was no “detectable cancer” in her recent scans. Even so, the immunotherapy has been taxing enough to deal with.

“Just to give a little life update to you guys, I had my immunotherapy yesterday and I did my scans and at this point there is no detectable cancer,” Teddi previously told her co-host Dolores Catania.

She added, “When they told me, I was in such shock. I was like, numb.”

At the time, the former Bravolebrity clarified that she has to continue immunotherapy for another year. And there is an entire process to really returning to health. Teddi stated, “I’m not considered in remission or anything like that.”

“I’m still going to be having days when I’m feeling sick and stuff because I still am in immunotherapy, so I’m still fighting because you have to be,” she continued. “The way the [doctors] said it works, it’s like one year, then two years, then at three years you’re allowed to be considered … in remission. So, but that was huge news yesterday.”

Teddi has been very honest and vulnerable about her health journey. She’s been heralded as a spokesperson for the disease, which started as melanoma before metastasizing to her brain and lungs. The RHOBH alum has a legion of fans and followers ready to offer support, should she choose to share her current health situation. As ever, Teddi has her wonderful family, children, and father by her side.

Now, Teddi is ringing her bells, in more ways than one, for 2026.

Teddi has a lot of gratitude heading into 2026

Teddi posted a collection of images from last year, penning, “2025 was not my year. Near-death has that effect on you. But as I close it out, I’m trying my best to be grateful for every moment that I’ve been blessed to have been given since.”

Teddi then admitted that she isn’t “sure what 2026 will hold.” Regardless, she “will never stop sharing with you the good, the bad, and the ugly. Being open and vulnerable helps me cope, and hopefully helps even one of you know you’re not alone in what life has you facing.”

To close, Teddi urged her followers to stay diligent with their health. As she stressed, “And of course, this is also a reminder to get those skin checks. Have you made your 2026 appointment yet? Then, in a separate post, Teddi further declared, “My word for 2026: GRACE.”

Teddi admits that “2025 was hard.” So now, she wishes “Grace for myself. Grace for others. Grace, even when my mind is telling me to offer anything but.”

An anonymous tipster spoke to some of the cast members on the phone and told them that Tamra spilled what happened. The voice on the phone knew all storyline details before any trailers or episodes had aired.

The news shocked everyone. The girls were all over her. They were convinced, because the person knew things that no one but the cast and crew would know. For her part, Tamra 100% denied leaking anything and demanded proof that the tipster was credible. To borrow from Heather Gay, Tamra wanted the proof and the receipts.

Teddi and Erika, both from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, shared their thoughts on Two Ts in a Pod. They spoke about what went down at the reunion and the accusation against Tamra.

“Do I think Tamra had the best season? No,” Teddi admitted. “Do I think that she deserved this? No. It felt yucky.”

“I think it’s all weird,” Erika added. “It felt ugly. I don’t like this sort of anonymous accuser. If you’ve got something to say, reveal yourself. So Tamra has the right to confront her accuser.”

“And you could tell Tamra was genuinely hurt about this,” Teddi said. Erika agreed, quoting Tamra, “I’ve been on the show 15 years, I would never do this.” They both 100% believe Tamra when she said that she didn’t do it. 

Time will tell if the RHOC team believes her. There may be a shakeup for the upcoming legacy Season 20 and Tamra has already admitted that no one is safe except for Vicki Gunvalson.

Teddi recently explained to Radar Online that while she is grateful, the fight isn’t over. “I’m still going to be having days when I’m feeling sick and stuff because I still am in immunotherapy,” she said. She added that she’ll continue treatment for another year and isn’t in remission yet. “The way the doctors said it works, it’s like one year, then two years, then at three years you’re allowed to be considered in remission.”

Teddi also talked about her daily challenges in an Instagram Story. “Some days are definitely better than others,” she wrote. “And you don’t see all the times I’m laying in bed unable to do much.” She added that she’s learning to rest without guilt and takes her podcast with Tamra Judge “week by week.”

Even with the ups and downs, Teddi remains focused on healing and gratitude. She recently thanked her dad, John Mellencamp, for supporting her through recovery. On October 24, she posted a photo of him with her daughters on Instagram. “It’s been 10 months since my brain surgery and I am so grateful for @johnmellencamp for continuously being there for me and my family the entire time.”

The two smiled together by the water, looking happy and relaxed. He later posted another picture of them dressed in coordinating white outfits.

Edwin recently hinted that he was dating again on an episode of his podcast, The Eds. “I am dating someone, yeah,” Edwin said. “It’s pretty serious.” At the time, he didn’t share any details about who she was, but his latest posts seem to confirm it.

Together they are raising Slate, 13, Cruz, 11, and Dove, 5. Edwin is also dad to Bella, 15, from an earlier relationship.

Teddi filed for divorce in November 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. Despite the breakup, Edwin didn’t step away. It’s been a pretty crazy season on RHOC so far, and no one has been spared the drama. Now that ladies are abroad, are things going better? So far, no major fights have broken out in the Venice of the North, but it hasn’t been smooth sailing despite a lot of time on the canals.

Erika Jayne gave “kudos” to the RHOC cast for embarking on the excursion

The Housewives are always known for their girls’ trips. It’s a fun part of the season. But they are also known to go off the rails. That’s what makes them good reality TV. For this season, the RHOC ladies headed to Amsterdam. And in between decorating penises or d*ckorating, as Emily Simpson called it, and space cakes, the girls also enjoyed a unique activity.

They floated down the canals in small hot tub boats, hilariously referred to as “crock pots.” And to be fair, they did look like little human crockpots. It was something that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Erika and alum Teddi would not want to do.

“I wanna know who peed in there,” Teddi said when Erika brought up the hot tub boats on their Two T’s in a Pod podcast. 

“All of them,” Erika deadpanned.  Teddi laughed and added, “I mean, how long do you think they were in the crock pots?”

“Just watching that made me think, what if they had tried to do this to me?” Erika shuddered. “I would have f*cking died.”

They also talked about how the RHOC ladies didn’t even put their whole bodies in the hot tub boats, and Erika said that made total sense. “This is one of those excursions where you just go, ‘What the f*ck?’” she added. “What shady producer decided we should get in a hot tub boat and float down the canal?”
