Tonight, Below Deck Down Under Season 4 premieres. And when it does, several familiar faces will be at the helm. This season, Captain Jason Chambers clearly scored a major win with the casting department. But even though he’s getting the cream of this franchise’s crop, problems will still arise onboard.

This season, Captain Jason’s right-hand lady is none other than Daisy Kelliher, who jumped ship from Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Since the fate of BDSY remains unknown, this opportunity is a great one for Daisy. That is, as long as her interior team can also rise to the occasion.

Meanwhile, João Franco is walking onboard as the exterior department head. Now, João has appeared on Below Deck Mediterranean and BDDU. And thankfully, he and Daisy seemingly get along this season, based on everything we’ve read so far.

Finally, in the galley, Ben Robsinson is making his way out of retirement. Ben hasn’t worked on a yacht in years. But this season, Captain Jason needed a last-minute replacement, and luckily for him, Ben just so happened to be free.

Clearly, with three returning department heads, consider fans ready for BDDU Season 4. But what have these OGs teased about this all-star season?

Daisy Kelliher says Chef Ben Robinson “challenged” her on Below Deck Down Under Season 4

As seen in the trailer, Daisy and Ben have never worked together before. And after this season, they may never work together again. Unless, that is, you take Ben’s words over Daisy’s.

To explain, when asked at BravoCon how Season 4 went, Daisy made sure to note that Ben “challenged [her] in every way possible.” However, “at first, he was great. But then I learned he couldn’t tell time, so that was a big problem when it came to dinner service,” she explained. At her side, Ben rolled his eyes in good humor, and then he challenged Daisy’s stance.

“I’m English. Different timezone,” Ben quipped. Daisy laughed, but then she further explained that their relationship this season was “interesting.” Because in addition to his failed “timekeeping,” Ben also behaves “like a guest” this season, Daisy revealed, noting her shock that Ben wasn’t wearing one of their guests’ robes while sitting on this panel.

So, what rubbed Ben the wrong way about Daisy? “Nothing really, to be honest,” Ben answered. “Actually, I thought we had a great relationship. I’m completely blindsided.”

But the way João, Daisy, and even Ben immediately started laughing teases otherwise. Whatever happens here, at least they can all laugh about it now. However, the verdict is still out on Alesia Harris’s take. As of now, her statements about BDDU Season 4 are limited.

Daisy and João Franco have a strong connection

On this same BravoCon panel, the moderator noted that Daisy seemed to share a strong bond with João, at least according to the trailer. When pressed about whether it was “love or lust at first sight” with João, Daisy stammered. After admitting that her “adrenaline [was] going so fast,” Daisy finally acknowledged that their bond was more of “a slow build.”

“I’m a slow builder, so I don’t wanna give too many spoilers away,” Daisy continued. “But João and I had a great relationship, we’re friends,” she stressed. Yet, when saying the word “friends,” Daisy did so flirtatiously, making João laugh on their shared stage. Apart from his laughter, João didn’t add anything extra to Daisy’s statement, but we do know that, whatever happens, João is already back with his ex, whose name is not Daisy.

Regardless, after their cameras went down, Daisy appeared on Watch What Happens Live. While here, she reiterated that she and João “worked well as a team.” And, as far as João goes, last October, he teased, “THIS IS GOING TO BE ONE CRAZY RIDE!!”

He was speaking about their crossover episodes with the cast of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. And as João further stressed, “Can’t wait until you all see our side of these episodes.” Fans won’t have to wait very long for this, as these hot messes are the very first charter guests of Season 4.

Captain Jason Chambers promises “dynamics” shifting in the BDDU crew

Between the hot and cold pairings of his department heads, Captain Jason might experience a turbulent season. Or not. Captains never really see the drama until each season airs. Even still, he admits that he’s lucky to have such capable yachties on board.

As Captain Jason explained to TV Insider, this season, Daisy thankfully “blew it right out of the park. Her process, of wanting to perform at her best, is all we can ask for, and she did. First and foremost, she wants to do her job very well. That’s all you can ask from the cruise.”

Regarding Ben and João, these yachties also gained Captain Jason’s trust. But the crew dynamics as a whole will either sink or swim this season, he admits.

“I think the crew dynamic that goes on, I can only imagine what happened off the boat because I hadn’t seen it myself. What I see we put together and what we came out with, I had to understand what was happening. I’m [mostly] worried about what is happening at work, but you could see the dynamics shift so many times with the crew. But at the end of the day, in front of the house, we were spot on with the charter guests,” Captain Jason detailed.

He continued, “You’re going to see João’s character come out, Daisy’s, and all the crew that participated. All of them have a great story to tell. I think we got there in the end.”

Meanwhile, Katie was sidelined for much of the season after failing a lie detector test. So, when RHOC showed Katie the door ahead of Season 20, it wasn’t a shock. “After two seasons as a cast member on RHOC, the network has decided to move forward with Season 20 without me,” Katie announced.

Shannon Beador allegedly verbally berated Matt Ginella at BravoCon 2025

Reality Roast shared a post by Queens of Bravo. The original post was captioned, “Rodrigo just said that Shannon Beador was rude and condescending at BravoCon.” The caption referenced a visit to Watch What Happens Live by Southern Charm star Rodrigo Reyes. When asked who his “least favorite” celebrity was at BravoCon, Rodrigo said, “Shannon Beador.” Plus, Rodrigo said of Shannon, “She was like talking a lot of crap off to the side that Tyler [Dugas] heard her talking about Salley [Carson] and I having a better position in one of the fan rooms.”

Naturally, Katie and Matt jumped into the comments to spill some tasty tea about Shannon. According to the couple, Shannon allegedly shouted at Matt during BravoCon. Matt wrote in comments, “You don’t say?!” Meanwhile, Katie chimed in with, “Maybe it’s when she yelled ‘YOU F*CKER!’ At you at BravoCon.” WOW!

During RHOC Season 19, Shannon was pretty salty at Katie for recording her without her permission. Shannon didn’t know that she was being recorded and was in meltdown mode. Later, Shannon called Katie filming her “pure evil betrayal.” Plus, Katie reportedly leaked a rumor about Gretchen Rossi to radio personality Kiki Monique. After that, Katie was iced out of the group.

Throughout RHOSLC Season 6, Monica has been online, chiming in about all of the drama impacting her former friend circle. In particular, she’s taken a strong stance standing behind Meredith Marks. As her bizarre behavior continues to dominate the on-screen conversations, Monica has been breathlessly defending her.

Last week, she claimed that one of her RHOSLC costars got so drunk during a cast trip that she allegedly had to get her stomach pumped. Her latest accusation took things a step further, claiming that someone arrived at BravoCon 2023 with cocaine. Allegedly, someone wanted to make it snow in Las Vegas, and Monica said she would have mentioned it all if she were still a part of the RHOSLC cast.

“We ready to talk about how worried you were that people would possibly find your c*ke stash in your suitcase at BravoCon?” Monica wrote on Instagram, alongside a video of her lip syncing to Megan thee Stallion’s Girls in the Hood.

Monica continued, “Or are we still playing it like others have the substance abuse problems?”

The former RHOSLC star and mother of five didn’t name any names, but she capped things off by reminding her followers that she’s not shaming anyone for doing drugs. Instead, she said it’s about calling out the hypocrites who have been critical of Meredith.

“It’s not about the c*ke,” Monica added. “It’s about the hypocrisy.”

I’m just obsessed with them,” Kyle shared.

Then, when he next appeared on Watch What Happens Live, Matt thankfully had a positive update to share regarding Fraser’s current health status.

Like many, Andy Cohen is “shipping” Matt’s new relationship with Fraser. After stressing this aspect, Andy asked Matt for an update. Because the last time Fraser appeared in the headlines, it was over a rather serious health scare.

Last week, Fraser spoke out against vaping, as it caused him to have a coronary artery vasospasm. “I had vape poisoning,” Fraser shared, noting, “I have never experienced fear or pain like it.” He is still “recovering,” he admitted, which Matt provided an update on during his appearance on WWHL.

“I know a lot of people are watching [who] care about him. Thank you so much,” Matt began. And then, he answered Andy’s question, reporting that Fraser is “doing a lot better” now. However, this incident is actually a growing area of concern, since so many people vape these days.

So, Matt next turned to the camera and issued a warning for the viewers on WWHL. “Don’t do it. Throw it away,” he stressed. At his side, Andy wholeheartedly agreed, many fans do as well.

According to the American College of Cardiology, people who vape experience a 56% increased risk for a heart attack and a 30% increased risk for a stroke.

We’re still feeling the ripple effects from BravoCon 2025. Remember how Stacey Rusch from The Real Housewives of Potomac called Kyle Richards the rudest person she met at the event? Well, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star finally got the chance to respond, and she had a semi-reasonable excuse for why their interaction didn’t go as Stacey had hoped.

Unfortunately for Kyle, she was everyone’s punching bag at BravoCon 2025. Stacey said that Kyle seemed “less than gracious” when they met. Plus, Reza Farahan named her the most overrated Housewife on television. No one wants that kind of unsolicited feedback.

During the December 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live, right after the RHOBH Season 15 premiere, Andy Cohen gave Kyle the floor to respond to both of the digs. When it came to Stacey, Kyle explained that she wasn’t trying to be rude.

“That is not something people say about me,” Kyle claimed. “I’m nice to everybody. I just didn’t know who she was because I haven’t seen the show since she’s been on, so I’m sorry about that.”

That’s a nice diplomatic answer. The same can’t be said about her response to Reza. He’s repeatedly made digs about Kyle being overrated, but Kyle said he sings a different tune when he sees her in person.

“He is so nice to my face,” Kyle said about The Valley: Persian Style star.

“We had this nice interaction. I told him how great he looks, he was so nice, and then he said that,” Kyle continued, before brushing it all off. “You know, you gotta get attention somehow.”

Austen and his costar, Madison LeCroy, used to date. But they make far better friends than they ever did lovers. Overall, their joint scenes are hysterical, and this unexpected friendship is now one of my favorite parts of this series.

Recently, Madison and her bestie, Austen, appeared on Watch What Happens Live. Here, Austen noted that, during this year’s annual BravoCon event, he forged a connection with another Bravolebrity. And yes, Madison approves of this connection.

As Austen confessed, this mystery woman is none other than Kiki Barth from Real Housewives of Miami. When they met, Austen felt “surprised” that their personalities meshed. And as for her appearance, well, “Kiki’s a tall drink of water,” he admitted.

However, even though Austen “would go to Miami” to hang out with Kiki, we shouldn’t get too giddy about their potential pairing just yet. As Austen explained, “We exchanged numbers and such, as she was pleasant when I reached out to her, but it just didn’t materialize,” he disclosed. Likewise, he already knows that Kiki is way out of his league. “I only have one thing going for me, and that’s my height,” which Kiki also has, he quipped.

So, for now, Madison is lending her ex an assist. “She’s been sending me some girls, you know, recently, and I’m like, ‘OK, Madison, keep them coming,'” Austen laughed.

Another BravoCon has come and gone. Yet, Shep Rose’s questionable behavior is still making headlines. And his Southern Charm co-star, Austen Kroll, has heard this Craig-themed song before.

Apparently, Shep was caught on camera at a bar calling Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo’s relationship fake. “It was a sham the whole time, huh?” he remarked. “She and Craig made millions on reality TV’s back, and then she broke up with him on her podcast! Do you understand how f*cked up that is?” While I’m confused why Shep is obsessed with Paige and Craig’s relationship, Austen knows why Shep can’t let go.

Recently, Austen was a guest on Watch What Happens Live. Of course, a fan asked Austen if he believed there was any validity to Shep’s BravoCon rant. “I mean, I heard bits and pieces. Like, I’ve heard this rant from him. Umm, and I don’t know about, you know, the truth of it. I just think that he just needs to, like, let it go,” Austen stated.

He continued, “I’m not sure why, for a guy who lets so many things go, I’m not sure why this bothers him so much. But I kind of do, and then I kind of don’t. And he thinks that … he thinks that Paige and Craig didn’t go through what he went through with Taylor [Ann Green].” Austen added, “And so I think that he thinks that that’s unfair.”

Naturally, host Andy Cohen asked Austen, “What did he go through with Taylor?” Austen responded, “Just like a public … even like at the reunion, you know, he got flogged by Taylor for three hours and….”

Fellow Southern Charmer Madison LeCroy quipped, “It’s just three hours.” Meanwhile, Andy pointed out that Craig “got flogged by Paige” at the Summer House reunion.

Shep Rose and Andy Cohen share a deep bond. So, when Shep attended BravoCon, he was most excited to see Andy, the master of ceremonies for this annual event.

Shep credits Andy with a lot. In 2023, Shep attended BravoCon. But unfortunately, Las Vegas got the best of this Southern Charm star that year. Even still, Andy stood squarely in his corner.

“He was cool, but was like, ‘Hey, I want you to be on this channel for as long as you want. We love you, but you can’t do that in front of this person, that person. You just got to be way more cognizant,” Shep recalled. And now, Shep is opening up even more about his tightly knit friendship with Andy.

People caught up with Shep this year at BravoCon, where Shep noted that he was particularly excited to see Andy. Then, Shep further described his friendship with this Bravo frontman. As he explained, they are so tight that Shep even recently spent time with him and his children outside the city.

“It’s funny, we’re on a text chain, me and Austen [Kroll] and Craig [Conover] and Andy,” Shep revealed. But sometimes, he and Andy also “separately text. I mean, I was in the Hamptons, and Andy said, ‘Why don’t you come by?’ I was like, ‘I’m here.’”

Shep continued, “I met his son and his daughter and hung out on the beach for a little while. People always ask me what he’s like. He is the most genuine guy. If you ask him any stupid question, which I try to keep to a very bare minimum, he gets right back to you. He’s like the most — I mean, he’s true bloom.”

As for Andy, after their Hamptons hang, he noted on his SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, that Shep fared well with his two young kids. “You can tell the measure of a person by how they are with your kids,” Andy said, adding, “He walked on the beach — and, you know, Shep, I’ve always characterized like a golden retriever — but he walked on the beach, and Ben immediately ran over to him because he saw [his] fishing rod, and he’s like, ‘Are you going fishing?’ And Shep’s like, ‘Yeah, I’ll teach you how to do it, come here.’”

“It touched my heart,” Andy admitted. “I was like, ‘This is very sweet.’”

Yes, BravoCon was weeks ago at this point, but it doesn’t matter. Rumors from this weekend are still making their way through the Bravoverse, and one of them warranted a response from Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge.

After the Bravolebs left Las Vegas, the word on the street was that one of the RHOC husbands had an affair. That would be quite a juicy storyline, but according to Tamra, that just doesn’t add up.

After BravoCon weekend, Tamra went on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live for a little bit of gossip. The pair dished about all of the drama that came out of the weekend in Vegas, along with all of the mess Tamra has endured in Season 19 of RHOC. When Jeff brought up the rumor he heard that an RHOC husband had a BravoCon hookup, Tamra made it clear that she wasn’t buying it.

“I don’t believe that,” Tamra quickly told Jeff.

Tamra didn’t believe this for a few reasons. Of course, Tamra knew that her beloved Eddie Judge wasn’t running around BravoCon looking for a hookup, so she could rule him out of the equation. But her main reason for not believing the rumor was because of the person who started it.

Apparently, the rumor originated from Ana Quincoces from The Real Housewives of Miami. Tamra doesn’t consider that to be credible source.

Tamra said, “Also, Ana was out there saying that I never went to the hospital when Teddi [Mellencamp] was sick so … sometimes people don’t fact-check and say things that aren’t necessarily true.”
